For his second solo exhibition at the gallery, Matt Rich has created a series of painted collages that take as their starting place the rectangle and the grid.
Featuring the same energetic and varied juxtapositions of materials, texture, and colors as his ongoing shaped canvas works, these pieces pit linear, perspectival space against organic, process-driven marks, together rendering a layered illusionistic space.
